Welcome to House of TALAR. By creating an account and using our platform, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
House of TALAR provides access to licensed counsellors and mental wellness professionals through a secure online platform. Our services include individual counselling, couples counselling, family therapy, and teen support sessions conducted via secure video call.
Our platform is not a crisis service or emergency service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services independently. Users under 18 may access the platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Sessions must be booked and paid for in advance through the platform. You may reschedule or cancel a session at no charge provided you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of a session may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged in full.
All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Prices are displayed in the applicable currency at the time of booking. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are generally issued only where a session could not take place due to a fault on our side or the counsellor's side. Please contact our support team for any payment queries.
All sessions and personal information shared on the platform are strictly confidential. Our counsellors are bound by professional ethical standards and applicable data protection laws. Confidentiality may only be broken in exceptional circumstances required by law, such as where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others.
You agree to use the platform respectfully and in good faith. You must not record sessions without explicit written consent from all parties, share your account credentials with others, use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or harass, threaten, or abuse any counsellor or staff member.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
All content on the House of TALAR platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of The TALAR Company and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without our prior written consent.
House of TALAR provides a platform connecting clients with independent licensed professionals. We do not provide medical advice or psychiatric treatment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The TALAR Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
